Createch Lahti Region

Where The Creatives, Technology And Industry Meet

The Createch Lahti Region project brings together technology, creative and service sectors to develop new, people-centered solutions. The focus is on co-development between companies, where companies from different areas of strength combine their expertise to create services and products that can scale directly to global markets.

The Createch Lahti Region project starts with a business survey identifying the strengths and development needs of companies in the region and finding the most suited companies for cooperation. The outcome of the survey will serve as a basis for building the Createch community, a multidisciplinary and long-term network that will support co-development between companies. In August 2025, we hold an event where larger companies present their development needs, to which local companies then can offer solutions. Regular  breakfast events will also be organised throughout Autumn and Winter to give businesses the opportunity to network.

In the co-developing phase, facilitators identify companies whose skills complement each other and whose cooperation can lead to new products and services to be commercialized. Mentors will help companies work with their partners and steer them towards new opportunities for cross-industry collaboration.

Why join? What's in it for my business?

    • Combine expertise from different sectors and find partners whose strengths complement your own.

    • Develop directly for global markets – building products and services for which there is international demand.

    • Build competitive advantage by using the latest technologies and user-centred design.

    • Harness the potential of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality and data as part of your business.

What could this mean in practice?

  • A digital animation studio can develop new services with a health technology company, resulting in more experiential and accessible solutions for the healthcare sector.

  • An industrial company can work with game designers to create new ways of visualising products and user experiences.

  • Social care providers can use game technologies to create interactive and participatory applications for care and rehabilitation.
